Exceptional Wedding Venue – Nothing but 5 stars for this wonderful wedding venue! Our son got married on 11/22/25 and it could not have been more perfect. Susie, Dan and the whole crew at Applecross made this day one of the most memorable events for our family and friends. The food, cocktails, event space, and staff were superb! We are forever grateful to all!!

RECOMMEND!! My husband and I got married at this absolutely stunning venue in October 2025. The moment we saw it, we knew it was the one for us. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, the modern interior & it’s amazing outdoor gardens, large ballroom space, and open window concepts made our day become an absolute fall dream! I cannot express how breathtaking this space is. Not only was the venue itself unreal, but the management we worked with was amazing. Susie was an absolute gem to work alongside. She made sure all of our expectations became reality, from the signature drinks to the rehearsal dinner space & company, to the very fine details, including our requested floor plan, measurements for the dance floor, champagne tower location suggestions, menu placement, & any suggested accommodations to please the groom & I plus SO much more, she was an absolute DREAM to work with. I could not have imagined this day without her. She was prompt with all of her responses to my MANY questions & followed through with every detail we inquired about. She truly wanted this day to be a bride’s dream come true & made it happen! I could rave about this beautiful venue and their amazing event & sales manager over & over. Highly recommend!

The Dream Wedding Experience! My husband and I were married this past September, and held our reception at The Gardens at Applecross in Downingtown, PA. We chose this venue for many reasons: the close proximity to our home, the beautiful outdoor patio reserved for the cocktail hour, the large/spacious ballroom with high ceilings, multiple floor length windows with natural lighting, and lastly–the amazing Chef Dan who goes so above and beyond for every couple! Chef Dan made us feel like we were the only bride & groom to ever be married at Applecross. He treated us like royalty at our food tasting, and delivered big time on the day of our actual wedding. Applecross uses the wonderful Christina’s Catering, which boasts delicious, gourmet food at a reasonable price. Each guest received a duet entree so that guests did not have to choose between 2 entrees–this really impressed us. Additionally, 7 hors d’oeuvres & several desserts are included in the cost. Wedding cake also included in the venue package. Dan and Tina are a pleasure to work with; they are so approachable. They granted us a few exceptions and concessions because they are good, genuine people. We felt like they became our friends throughout the wedding experience! Their service was very fast on wedding day and no guests were ever left waiting. Applecross offers free parking, a luxurious ballroom that fit our 11-person band. The venue also comes with its own dance floor lighting so we did not have to pay for any upgrades. We are very pleased with the venue overall–Susie the venue coordinator is very attentive and good at her job! She paid excellent attention to our vision and helped arrange everything to our precise liking. Susie responds very quickly and was never hard to reach. My husband and I would highly recommend The Gardens at Applecross for other couples looking at get married!

We collaborated with the Applecross team over a 14-month period since initial meeting through the wedding on June 28th 2025. Every member of the team was professional infused with joy and empathy, from the wedding planner to chef and associates working the venue. The Gardens at Applecross is an absolutely beautiful place to get married! I knew that right away when I looked at it, and our wedding guests were non-stop complimenting the beauty of the venue! Besides the beauty of the place, the coordinators, the caterer, and all the staff were extremely flexible, kind, and ready to make the day go just as the bride wanted! I can not thank them enough for calming my nerves and making sure I got just what I asked for! I recommend this venue to everyone and anyone wanting to get married! The space was big and breathtaking, the food delicious, and any type of drink could be found at the bar! Many thanks to the Gardens at Applecross for making my wedding dreams come true, truly! The venue is gorgeous year round. We just had an August wedding in the garden and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. The food was amazing. Dan and Susie made my wedding day on 8/17/25 so carefree that I was able to just relax and enjoy this special day. I greatly appreciate all the guidance from the day we toured the venue and leading up to the wedding.

Walking into my Forever – I need to express exactly how I felt on my wedding day at The Gardens at Applecross. The few weeks leading up to our wedding was very difficult. My Dad, who is my best friend, was admitted to the ICU which was very scary. It made it very hard to navigate planning the wedding while stressing about him and knowing he would not get to see me get married. The week of my wedding, my niece (one of the flower girls) was admitted to CHOP which meant my sister (maid of honor) would also not be there. It was bad news every hour. Totally felt lost and I just wanted to cancel. The team all reached out to check in on me and continued to offer help in any way they could. The morning of the wedding the storms came rolling in. I just felt so overwhelmed and stressed. We arrived at Applecross, we walked in the doors and the weight that I was carrying was no longer on my shoulders. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and empathetic. Dan treated us like royalty. The whole building was breathtaking. The food was outstanding. I could not have dreamed of a better wedding. Not one complaint. They made sure to check on me, my husband and everyone else that was there with us several times. They stayed right on time with every single part of the day. They did not miss a beat. The bartenders were so polite and friendly. They made sure any dietary restrictions were not only perfected but that the guest enjoyed it. I will cherish this day for the rest of my life and that is because they run such an amazing team. I never once felt like it was a transaction deal to just throw a party or just some random venue we picked. At the end of the night, anytime I tried to lift something a staff member ran over to grab it for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The staff truly felt like family and that was what I really needed considering my main family members could not be there with me.

My daughter and her fiancé had a gorgeous wedding at the Gardens at Applecross on Friday June 7th. They wanted a venue that was elegant and formal yet captured the beauty of nature they loved so much. Although they booked Applecross when it was still under construction, they saw the vision, and it was perfect. I should note that when they booked, there were not all-inclusive packages so we did hire individual vendors which may be different from those now included in the package. Katie and Luke’s vendors were all amazing and each contributed to the success of the wedding in their own special way. We were also fortunate to have beautiful weather so were able to take advantage of the gorgeous outdoor ceremony space with the enormous pergola and perfectly landscaped backdrop. Their guests loved the outdoor/indoor cocktail space with both an outdoor and indoor bar, ample seating and beautiful landscaping. Many guests also retreated to this area later in the evening to take a break from dancing. The fire pits and lighting created a lovely ambiance to such a spectacular evening. The indoor ballroom was gorgeous. The ceiling to floor windows captured the natural beauty of the outside and the chandeliers and draping added to the elegance. Our florist added two gorgeous floral chandeliers that complimented all the other ballroom florals all of which created a stunning dinner/reception space! The combination of this beautiful venue, outstanding vendors and an absolutely amazing couple made for a magical wedding!

The Gardens at Applecross was the perfect place to get married. We had the best time and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We will forever look back to that day with fond memories. From our initial meeting to booking the venue, communication was easy and very accommodating. My wife and I had our ceremony and reception at The Gardens on August 13th. We are thankful that we committed to an outdoor ceremony, because the outdoor space is visually stunning. We used no decorations in the outdoor area, allowing the natural flowers and shrubs, the distant trees, and the simple and elegant veranda to do the work. We wouldn’t have done it differently! We almost moved inside for the heat, which is the other incredible value of The Gardens. The indoor space is also stunning. Classic but not stuffy, clean, and spacious. It felt like more windows than walls, and the view was gorgeous. If you need a break from the DJ and the crowd, there is a wrap around porch with fire pits and a great view of the pristine, Nicklaus-designed golf course. So, if the weather doesn’t cooperate and an outdoor ceremony isn’t an option, moving inside won’t feel like a sacrifice. Similarly, there is an indoor and outdoor space for cocktail hour, both classy as ever, but we can confirm your Old Fashioned tastes great in either spot. Working with Applecross was smooth. Our coordinator was enthusiastic and attentive to the details, and answered our calls whenever we needed him. Our caterers enjoyed the renovated kitchen space. The photographer was thrilled with her options. The general manager also showed up to assist and check on our day, which left us feeling confident that we were being taken care of. In summary, The Gardens at Applecross is a beautiful venue in the Philadelphia area that has the potential to give you the wedding you’ve always wanted. All your friends had their barn-wedding in Lancaster, why don’t you do something a little different and book The Gardens?
